A video of a man running and screaming while holding two babies has circulated on Facebook; it has been claimed that it shows the injustice done to Kurds by Turkey in northeast Syria.

Also, tweeters have posted the same video on twitter under the #NoFlyZone4Rojava hashtag. Rojava is the name given by Kurdish nationalists to areas in northern Syria that are considered parts of Kurdistan.

In addition, some Youtube channels have posted the same video, claiming that it shows the “Israel Army Killing Innocent People Of Palestine.”

Verify-Sy platform inspected the video and found that it was recorded in February 2018, after an airstrike on the town of Has southern Idlib.

A man who wears the Syrian civil Defense uniform, also known as the White Helmets, can be seen in the video, which refutes that the video was taken in the areas controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), which prohibits the White Helmets from working in its areas of control in northeast Syria.

According to the White Helmets, the airstrike resulted in the death of 14 civilians, most of them were women and children, leaving wide scale destruction in the residential area.

Turkey had launched a military operation on October 9 against the Syrian Democratic Forces in Syria, before it halted it after Turkish-Russian-U.S. understandings.

Of note, since the beginning of the Turkish military action, Verify-Sy platform has spotted and refuted dozens of misleading news materials including videos and photos.
