The person who was assaulted in this video is not a Lebanese minister

News pages and personal accounts on social media shared a video showing verbal and physical assault on a man delivering speech after he compared between the Egyptian and Syrian armies dealing with its people after the revolution started in Egypt and Syria.

The publishers of the video said the person who was assaulted is a Lebanese minister without pointing out who the assaulters were.

Verfiy-sy searched for the video and it turns out it’s from early 2015, the incident happened in Arab Lawyers federation congress in Cairo Egypt and the person who was assaulted wasn’t a Lebanese minister but a lawyer member of Lebanese Future movement called Fadi Saad and the attackers were pro-Assad regime Syrian lawyers.

The Syrian lawyers also assaulted on that day 2 other lawyers from Future movement valled Jamil Qambreis and Mounir al-Hussaini according to an official statement by the movement on the incident who raised an enormous condemnation by lawyers in Lebanon.
