Verify-Sy received many messages asking about if it is true that Turkish authority issued new law about Syrian reunification.

Many Syrian pages on Facebook shared a statement by Hatay governor “Ercan Topaja” to allow Syrians in Turkey to reunion with their families (mother, father and siblings) after the previous law of reunification allowed only husband, wife and children.

Searching the source of the statement turns out it was published a year ago in a report titles “Turkey issue new law on Syrians reunification” on 26/8/2016 on Orient website.

Verify-Sy would like to remind audience that Bab al-Hawa official website shared lately on 4 May saying Turkish side stopped receiving reunification requests until further note.

Worth to mention Bab al-Hawa border crossing is completely closed now following clashes between Hayyet Tahrir al-Sham and Ahrar al-Sham near the border crossing.
