Syrian Coalition Didn’t Welcome Hayyet Tahrir al-Sham Arresting Qaeda Commanders

Social media personal accounts shared a statement said by Syrian Coalition saying “Hayyet Tahrir al-Sham arresting Qaeda commanders is a positive step”.

The statement with the date of 28/11/2017 said “after forming Hayyet Tahrir al-Sham which Jabhet Fateh al-Sham considered its backbone in addition to other rebels group it is now nessecary to remove the group from international terror lists because being on these lists is a threat to the Syrian revolution”.

The alleged statement added “Hayyet Tahrir al-Sham arrested several Qaeda commanders in Syria after realizing the threat they have if they stayed in Syria and we welcome this step and consider it a step in the good direction”.

Verify-Sy would like to remind audience that this statement wasn’t published on Syrian Coalition official accounts beside that the head of the media office in Coalition Ahmad Ramadan said in a tweet on Tweeter that “this statement is fake and wasn’t issued from the Media office in Syrian coalition and some suspected sides are sharing aiming for distortion”.
