Claim

Social media news pages from Jordan and Syria shared news claiming that Jordanian police arrested a Syrian guy while participating in one of the protests in Jordan.

The pages said that Jordanian police found Molotov cocktails in his possession and he intended to throw it against the police during a protest.

But Jordanian fact-check website “sahehkhabarak” cited a Jordanian police officer who confirmed that police captured 5 Arab men from a country he didn’t name but denied at the same time that they found weapons or Molotov cocktails.

Worth to mention that several Jordanian cities witnessed in the past few days protest against the income tax law which forced the government to resign today.
